Construction Trades is a 2 year program which is based upon industry standards associated with the Residential Carpentry field. Students applying for enrollment in this course should have a passion for all areas of this career field. Students will be covering curriculum from planning and design through construction and marketing of a residential home.
This is a hands-on course which includes Safety, Tools Usage and Operation, Construction Techniques including foundations, framing, roofing, etc. This program requires extensive standing, climbing, bending and kneeling. This course can be taken as a 1 or 2 year course and students will be working toward industry certifications.
