Jim comes to KTEC from Timberlake High School where he taught Math and Science for fourteen years, and three years before that at Lakeland Jr. High.
Before starting his teaching career, Jim worked in the Automotive industry in parts and service. He has also worked as an Exploration Geologists Assistant with Boise Cascade Corporation.
His higher education began at Boise State University with a degree in Geology and several years later continued with a teaching degree from University of Idaho and subsequently a Masters in Educational Leadership also from U of I.
Jim and his wife of 30 years have 3 grown children and 5 grandchildren. Jim and his wife are both native Idahoans and currently live in the Athol area. Jim and his family enjoy boating, camping, hunting, and many other outdoor activities. Jim especially enjoys working around his acreage and in his shop.
